Meet Babette ...
I am a mom of 4 teens/ young adults who were adopted transracially. Our children experienced early life trauma, and our whole family suffered due to our inability to parent their specific needs. We tried everything, but things only got worse.
It pushed me to study trauma, attachment, adoption, and race issues. I became trained in IFS (Internal Family Systems), a powerful, effective, and evidence-based approach to coaching/ therapy. Things improved significantly and I began speaking about this at national conferences.
Now, I want to share my knowledge and experience and provide IFS support with others who are struggling. I offer individual support as well as parenting guidance, education, and conference speaking.
